About

Have you ever felt lost in the cooking world? Feeling like you could get the hang of something but then, lost it and failed? If it’s a yes, then that makes two of us.

My name is Alexandra Schmidt, a university student who likes to cook and, also uses cooking as a way of procrastinating.

I know using the art of cooking as a getaway from studying or from doing whatever other responsibilities we have in our life may not sound very good. However, you could treat yourself with a proper quality time session of cooking once you’ve finished doing whatever you needed to do.

Inspired by the film Julie & Julia, I’m thinking of doing a recipe each week, write about how it went, do also some experimental recipes or try to cook something I’ve never done before to become a better cook, and, if I feel like breaking some rules, reinterpret some of my family’s recipes.

FeeI free to follow my journey and jump on board with me.
