Is my meal coming together?

Hello again friends!

On the last post I didn’t know what to cook for the Three Kings Day but, after doing some research, I decided I would go for pork hocks because seems quite easy to cook and the most difficult thing it requires is patience… I’m okay with that.

I don’t think my family has ever done pork knuckles before. Our Christmas meals consist of filled eggs, smoked salmon, Hungarian salad, escudella i carn d’olla, prosciutto, filled calamary, and I don’t remember what else. So, pork hocks is something completely new and very different than what we usually do… I get inspired by my memory and meals or dishes I find really appealing, that is why sometimes I come up with crazy ideas.

I still have no idea how to cook them though. I know I want them crispy on the outside and really tender inside but no idea how to do that. There are so many ways of doing it, different methods…. I have zero idea where to start.

If any of you have any tip, your preferred way of doing them, anything…don’t be shy and leave a comment down below!!… it would be very useful and I’d really appreciate it.

I will carry on digging til I find what I am looking for.

I’ll be back in a couple of days, take care!!
